Alexa Wnorowski

Editor / Content Writer

Alexa is a Ph.D. student at Stanford University studying bioengineering. Her research uses stem cells from patients with heart disease to try to understand how the diseases develop and how to treat them! Alexa grew up in New Jersey with her mom and dad and two younger siblings. In college, she studied bioengineering at Cornell University. In her free time, Alexa likes to dance, run, bake, read, play video games, watch Once Upon a Time and Doctor Who, and eat Oreos and ice cream and pizza! She also loves learning new things, often by listening to podcasts and reading books. When she has time, she tries to learn new languages, listen to stories from mythology, and learn about how our personalities develop. Alexa also loves teaching and hopes to one day be a professor or teacher!
